Update on operational disruptions in Rusta’s IT system

Rusta's IT system remains affected by operational disruptions, following an incident at hosting provider Tietoevry on January 20, 2024. Currently, there is no forecast from Tietoevry regarding when the operational disruptions can be fully resolved, and Rusta is implementing temporary solutions to mitigate the negative effects. The company currently estimates that the total lost sales in January, as a result of the disruptions, amounts to around MSEK 70, with a negative EBITA effect of around MSEK 30. The impact on Rusta’s fourth quarter is still uncertain but is assumed to be material. Time is a critical factor, and the longer the operational disruptions persist, the greater the negative consequences for Rusta’s value chain and thereby sales.
